Affordable Housing Coalition Hosts Successful Summit
The Affordable Housing Coalition of Southeastern NC recently held its 2008 Summit, which covered topics such as foreclosure prevention, green building, universal design and safety in our neighborhoods. Foreclosures Reduce Neighboring Property Values
Entire neighborhoods are being impacted by rising foreclosures, said Chris Kukla of the Center for Responsible Lending on a recent bus tour in Greensboro. If your house is within a quarter-mile of a home lost to foreclosure, your home's value decreases $2,000 on average in Guilford County.  More...
