Mountain Slated for Oct. 17
Celebrate affordable housing in the mountains by attending the Home4NC
Dream House celebration on Oct. 17 in Black Mountain. As sponsors of
the Dream House, Thomas McClain of Home Sweet Home Land Management Group
and The Settings of Black Mountain will donate a portion of the proceeds
from the sale of the Dream House to support our affordable housing

Gov. Easley Signs 3 Foreclosure Bills
Gov. Mike Easley recently signed three bills to reduce the number
of home foreclosure filings, including one that requires banks to provide
45 days notice before a foreclosure is filed. Easley has said the law
could help more than 25,000 families stay in their homes.
